The master of cleaning, at Shisendo Temple, at Kyoto
This is a garden of a temple, with the wave pattern on the sand surface. The sense of the excessive clean comes from Shintoism, although this is not in shrine but temple.

I've always loved Japanese gardens. Sand and stone, trees and moss—no matter what the material used, they're always so peaceful.
