Maiko, being about to go out
Maikos seem to work very hard because they always need to dress up and wear many clothes of kimono even in the middle of summer. Kyoto's summer is very humid and hot, so even an hour walk only with T-shrit in the sunny day in summer make us sweat. But, strangely enough, dressed geikos, as their experiences enlarges, don't get sweat so much evern in such a hot and humid day.

Hi Macky this is a pretty good shot, if you weren't explain in your blog. What first came in my mind was a mannequin in frame door. She just adorable beauty in her kimono.
She is lovely and such high shoes. It must be difficult to walk gracefully in them.
Macky,

I love the subject of geisha and maiko, as you know =O)), and it is fascinating the time that they take dress up and make up every day of their life.
