Kyoto's humidity is not so much. But it is rather high in the site of this temple. Because of the humidity, the features of soil and rich trees, rich mosses got to cover the surface.

This is one of the most beautiful mosses in Kyoto and famous for the mosses. This temple is called "Saihoji Temple". And its other name is Koke-Dera, Moss Temple.
