Okonomi-yaki

Gion area, Kyoto, Kyoto sightseeing
This is an Japanese restaurant, providing Okonomi-yaki, Japanese pizza, in Kyoto. The house is neatly made of wood.

By the way, do you happen to know Okonomi-yaki?

I think that it is much better to go to Osaka or Hiroshima to enjoy this food. Most of Okonomi-yaki shops in Tokyo are not so good;-) (Though some in Tokyo are tasty.)

I often went to the Okonimi-Yaki Shop in Hiyoshi (Tokyo) when I was there.
I also has been few shops in Osaka when I was there for business trip (quite often).
Totally different style! How about the Kyoto version, is that close to Osaka version?

ben: thanks for your comment. I'd never gone to Okonomiyaki shop in Kyoto, but I think it is close to Osaka version. I prefer Hiroshima version because I had been in Yamaguchi for a long time.

I had Okonomiyaki when I was in Osaka. :) I even cooked it by myself in a small restaurant. But I have never been to Kyoto. I'd love to visit there some day.
