Japan and Britain share a love of tea even though our ceremonies are a world apart.

A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and yours from Hyde.

Tea is not my favorite. However, the ceremonies which accompany tea are very interesting. Several years ago a Japanese firm opened a large manufacturing plant in Greenville. Following this came an authentic Japanese restaurant complete with a tea room. Sadly the restaurant is no longer in business however I had to pleasure to eat there in the past.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
