Tai, a kind of fish for happiness

This is called Tai, sea red bream, and is thought as a kind of fish for happiness.

This fish is served at the dinner of Japanese-way wedding ceremony and dedicated to the gods at shrine.

We eat it as sashimi, sliced raw fish, with soy sauce, or kobujime, the one rolled up and tasted with kelp, or shio-yaki, the one grilled with some shake of salt, or tai-chazuke, the one together with boiled rice and tasted soup with some fish.
